Coin Bread Pizza

Pizza is ideally an Italian dish that has a base of plain flour/maida or wheat flour or multigrain and with the choice of toppings in veg and non-veg both and with loads of cheese. It's available in varieties of crust like thin crust, cheese burst, or thick crust. It's made in an oven with the perfect temperature settings to get a perfect texture. It's also prepared in a wood fire to get that smokey taste to the Pizza. The pizza was then introduced in India, and Indians welcomed it with open arms.

We Indians, often tend to try the dishes in their way with their own desi style. And no doubt, I do come out great and people love it the desi way. We have our own offering on pizza such as paneer pizza, makhani pizza with the Makhni sauce(instead of tomato sauce), and so on.

We have seen varieties of pizza in India like mug pizza, mini pizza, pocket pizza, paratha pizza, bread pizza, and many more. We love to blend Indian spices to the Italian dishes. So here I am presenting you straight from my kitchen, 'Coin Bread Pizza'

Coin Bread Pizza is made from the slice of bread, by cutting the middle of the bread with a cookie cutter giving it a nice round shape. As it is cut with the cookie-cutter, you get a mini pizza base in which you can add butter, pizza sauce, customized toppings, and cheese. These pizza bases are then arranged in an appe pan mould and cooked on a gas top or induction for 4-5 minutes to get that crispy base like pizza. You then unmould it and serve it hot with ketchup.

This recipe is loved by kids and it's a quickie. Coin bread pizza can be the best party starter that everyone will enjoy. So just note down the recipe and let me know if you liked it.
